Template:Hatnote

File:Spider Jockey at night.png
A spider jockey.
File:SkeletonRiderGroup.png
A group of skeleton horsemen.

A jockey refers to a naturally-spawned Minecraft:mob riding another mob. The mob on the top often controls the mob on the bottom in Template:Editions, but sometimes does not control it in Template:Editions.

Most jockeys are named based on the mob being ridden. The exceptions to the "jockey" naming scheme are the skeleton horseman and zombie horseman.

List of jockeys

  1. REDIRECT Template:EntityLink; a camel husk ridden by a Minecraft:husk wielding a Minecraft:spear and a parched passenger.
  1. REDIRECT Template:EntityLink; a baby Minecraft:zombie, zombie villager, drowned, Minecraft:husk, or zombified piglin riding a chicken or most adult mobsTemplate:Only
  1. REDIRECT Template:EntityLink; a baby hoglin ridden by one to three baby piglins.
  1. REDIRECT Template:EntityLink; a ravager ridden by an Minecraft:illager, most commonly being a pillager.
  1. REDIRECT Template:EntityLink; a skeleton horse ridden by a skeleton with an enchanted iron helmet.
  1. REDIRECT Template:EntityLink; a spider ridden by a skeleton, stray, bogged, parched, or wither skeleton.Template:Only
  1. REDIRECT Template:EntityLink; a cave spider ridden by said skeletons.Template:Only
  1. REDIRECT Template:EntityLink; a strider ridden by a zombified piglin or baby strider.
  1. REDIRECT Template:EntityLink; a zombie horse ridden by a Minecraft:zombie wielding a spear.
  1. REDIRECT Template:EntityLink; a zombie nautilus ridden by a drowned wielding a Minecraft:trident.

Removed

  1. REDIRECT Template:EntityLink; a chicken ridden by a giant.Template:Only

Most jockeys spawn in similar conditions to their respective mobs, except for baby zombie (variant) riders in Template:Editions, which can mount any mob.

Mounting

Script error: No such module "Exclusive". in Template:Editions, 15% of naturally spawned baby zombies, baby husks, and baby drowned can mount other mobs when spawned. This includes baby zombies summoned by monster spawners and spawn eggs. Such a mob can be summoned with the minecraft:as_baby_jockey Minecraft:spawn event.

The following mobs can be mounted:
