Template:Infobox guide This guide is a simplified overview of all the changes in the Template:BE 0.9.x releases, which assumes at least some familiarity with Bedrock Edition 0.8.x releases.

Mobs

  • New mob spawning algorithm.
  • Mobs are lighter in color when injured.
  • Passive mobs now spawn in groups.
  • Increase the health of all mobs to the values in Java Edition.
  • The game now spawns fewer mobs, clearing out old hostile mobs.
  • Animals no longer disappear.

  • Zombie AI and mechanics have been changed to make them more team-like.
  • When attacked, there is a small probability of spawning more zombies.

Emerald ore File:Emerald Ore JE2 BE1.png Generates naturally in mountains. Drops emeralds

Pickaxe Dyed hardened clay.
Stained clay Template:Animate Red, orange, yellow, brown, white and light gray terracotta naturally occur in mountains.

  • Frozen oceans no longer generate naturally.

Trees Template:Animate
  • Spruce oak do not generate in new worlds as their rare glitch has been fixed.
  • Oaks now generate with different heights and structures.
  • Spruce trees now generate with different heights and structures.
Minecraft:Terrain features Old terrain generation removed, now using Minecraft:old world type.
Biomes
  • Added biome-specific colored blocks.
  • Removed gravel beaches.
  • Frozen oceans no longer generate naturally.

Gameplay
