Minecraft:Netherite Chestplate

From SAS Gaming Wiki
Revision as of 15:57, 9 April 2026 by SyncBot (talk | contribs) (Remove broken links to missing pages)

Template:Infobox item A netherite chestplate is a late-game variant of Minecraft:chestplate obtained by upgrading a diamond chestplate using a netherite ingot and netherite upgrade at a smithing table. It is the highest tier of chestplate, having higher armor toughness, durability, and enchantability than a diamond chestplate. Like all netherite armor, a netherite chestplate provides 10% knockback resistance when worn, is immune to burning from Minecraft:fire and Minecraft:lava in item form, and takes no durability damage from lava when worn.

A netherite chestplate can also be repaired in an Minecraft:anvil by adding netherite ingots, with each ingot restoring 25% the chestplates' maximum durability, rounded down. Two chestplates of the same tier can also be combined in an anvil. Both methods using the anvil preserves the chestplate's enchantments.

Enchantments

Armor trimming

It is possible to upgrade armor with trims. This requires a smithing template, a chestplate, and an ingot or crystal (iron ingot, copper ingot, gold ingot, netherite ingot, Minecraft:emerald, redstone dust, lapis lazuli, amethyst shard, nether quartz, Minecraft:diamond, or resin brick).

These trims have no effect on the gameplay or strength of the armor.
