Template:Infobox video The Finale is the eighth and final episode of the first season of Minecraft Mini-Series.

Summary

In front of a large Nether portal, CommuniKate greets her audience and tells them about the participants' experience with "scary monsters, treacherous mineshafts, and even a haunted farm". At the same time, the contestants are seen playing with multiple chickens. Kate's speech gets interrupted as a group of chickens begin to run after her and Zed, and all the participants watch the chaos evilly.

Out of fear, she presses four buttons in a specific pattern to bring out her command block in order to despawn the chickens. While trying to execute her command, Quinn throws a chicken at her so her book of codes falls from her hand and Toby steals it. After noticing her book is in Toby's hand, CommuniKate takes it back and admitts that his uprising has ended and there is a challenge to complete. Team Stone Beach and Team Mesa then agree on their plan to overthrow their host. During an interview, Quinn admits her team can win the finale.

CommuniKate reveals that the final challenge will take place in Minecraft:the Nether, bringing all the participants to the portal. There, they are tasked to race to the other side of the portal while avoiding ghasts, zombie pigmen, and blazes. However, the challenge never occured because the participants escaped back to the Overworld. Kate and Zed then catch up but receive a splash potion of Slowness thrown by Durango. Quinn reveals that all the participants, eliminated or not, are tired of these challenges, and the eliminated team members emerge from the obsidian box.

Watching in disbelief, CommuniKate soon notices her book of codes has been swapped for a chicken book, and hers is in Toby's hand. He tells her that he swapped the book of codes for a chicken book and secretly executed a command to give the prisoners diamond pickaxes so they can escape the obsidian box.

Shocked, CommuniKate orders her iron golems to attack the participants and prisoners. First, Slugger attempts to fight a golem, Vin chases another with his pickaxe, Mo hides in a hole as two iron golems run to her, and two more try to pull Rudi. The golems soon fall trapped in web shot by two black widow spiders ridden by Sacha and Durango, who take down the other golems with webs.

As the chase stops, Toby and Rudi manage to find the coordinates to teleport back home using the command block, and River tries to summon the block to no avail because of the button puzzle. Fortunately, Slugger intervenes by immediately digging to get the block. A slowed CommuniKate tries to stop them to no avail, as Slugger already found the block along with some redstone dust. Then, Quinn and Eve proceed to imprison their host in a small obsidian cage, and Mo and Vin do the same to Zed.

As all the contestants gathered around Toby, he reveals his goal with the command block, which is to teleport the nearest two players to their home. Rudi, with his redstone torch, is tasked for activating the redstone circuit. First, he teleports Team Woodland, then Team Mooshroom, and then Team Tundra. Due to Rudi's absence, he has to do the activation task himself. While he is trying to teleport Team Mesa, he gets stopped by CommuniKate, who uses an enchanted diamond pickaxe in her inventory to break out of her cage. Zed, released by his sidekick, shoots an arrow of Slowness at Durango, then misses Toby three times.

While dodging the arrows, Toby accidentally drops his book and torch, teleporting along with River, while an iron golem holds Quinn tightly. CommuniKate unhappily kicks some redstone dust off the wire and tells Quinn that this is her show, and the audience's attention is only complete with the participants. Quinn replies that she does by no means want the attention of "strangers", and without friends, she would have never defeated The Enderall. CommuniKate angrily asks about The Enderall's relationship with the uprising, and Quinn answers by pulling out an ender pearl, repairing the redstone wire and teleporting home along with Durango.

To conclude her show, CommuniKate tells her audience that her participants have not headed home, but to a special location for the next season. Meanwhile, Zed wears a helmet of champion, and gets surrounded by iron golems.
