Dragonwilds:Spawning
More actions
Template:External Spawning is the in-game creation of an entity, such as a Dragonwilds:non-player character (NPC) or an item. Respawning is the recreation of an NPC, resource node, or item, after its Dragonwilds:death, destruction, or use. Despawning is the instantaneous destruction or removal of a resource, such as destroying a tree Dragonwilds:stump. The time it takes for an entity to spawn/respawn depends on the game's internal time mechanic. Respawn times shown in the wiki refer to in-game times.
Spawning
There are different spawning mechanisms, such as:
- After creating their character on the Dragonwilds:character creation menu, the player will spawn inside the Dragonwilds:Temple of Saradomin.
- Summoning Dragonwilds:Velgar by using the Dragonwilds:challenge horn on the Dragonwilds:Dragonkin altar at Dragonwilds:Velgar's Rise
Respawning
Several respawn mechanisms include:
- Dragonwilds:Monsters can respawn between one to three days, depending on the type of monster and their location.
- Several Dragonwilds:resources can respawn in their Dragonwilds:resource node between half an in-game day to three in-game days.

Respawn point
Respawn points are places where the player has set their on-death placement. For example, "claiming" a Dragonwilds:bed or Dragonwilds:bed roll after building it can set their respawn point if they die anywhere in Dragonwilds:Ashenfall.
