Armor Patching Overview

Armor Patching is a common skill used by almost all armor-wearing races across Alharth. Various types of Armor Patch Kits are used by this skill.

The ability to use repair kits to fix up your armor.

Training Armor Patching

Learning the art of Armor Patching is simple (talk to Marna, an elf living in the Town of Serbule). She also sells Simple Armor Patch Kits, a required item for beginner Armor Patchers. To use an Armor Patch Kit, find the Patch Armor ability under the Special Abilities menu and drag it to the sidebar.
Tyler Green in Serbule Hills teaches the production of Armor Patch Kits and Shield Wax recipes.
Arlan in the Ilmari Desert will unlock levels 51-60 and 61-70.
Pegast in the Fae Realm will unlock levels 71-80.
Levels 81-90 are unlocked by Serendipity Cheddar deep beneath Povus.

Repairing Armor

Skill in Armor Patching can be gained by using Armor Patch Kits, through the Patch Armor abilities. Use of any version of Patch Armor will grant you experience for kills within one minute of the activation of the ability. If Patch Armor is used after defeating a monster, you can still get experience for a short period of time. Armor Patch Kits are only consumed 10% of the time.

Crafters producing equipment which improves Armor Patching should obtain the Sigil Scripting recipe Armor Patching Inscription, which allows for the creation of

This attuned gemstone can be used in any recipe which calls for the use of [[ProjectGorgon::Category:Items/Crystal|Crystals]] to create equipment with Armor Patching Treasure Effects.
