Vampirism Overview
Vampirism is intended for experienced players and it requires many high level group quests to fully unlock. Once you start you also have to deal with the sun burning you. In exchange you get access to a skill with high potential for Trauma, Psychic and Darkness damage with exceptional crowd control abilities. At the moment it is possible to reverse the vampirism but this may be removed in the future.
Training Vampirism
- Truxartis inflicts this skill upon the willing after completing a couple of quests. He also provides the majority of the training up to Level 70. He can be found underneath a tower in the northeastern mountains in Vidaria
- Bendith the Banished can unlock 71-80.
- Levels 81-90 are unlocked by Reinath deep beneath Povus.
- Meghan Olliver in Statehelm unlocks levels 81-90, 91-100, and Prodigy Potential.
Unlocking Vampirism
- Obtain 2x Acur Blood.
- 1x Acur Blood from participating and completing the "Close The Portal" event in Eltibule at 1 AM (in-game, every night).
- 1x Acur Blood from participating and completing the "Close The Portal" event in Sun Vale at 3 AM (in-game, every night).
- Travel to Vidaria and travel to the north-east corner, enter the trapdoor at the base of the nearby structure.
- Talk to the coffin and accept its first quest, The Man In The Coffin, and turn in the requested 2x Acur Blood.
- Accept the next quest, The Stolen Lens, from Truxartis.
- Kill Lythorax in Vidaria to obtain the Missing Hematic Lens and turn it in to Truxartis.
- NOTE: This is a very difficult fight and cannot be done alone (unless you are using Fire Magic).
- Truxartis will now offer to bestow Vampirism upon the player.
Curing Vampirism
- Vampirism can be removed from a character by interacting with a lever inside one of the vampire safehouses, accessible as part of the Accessing the Safehouse quest.
