Template:Infobox object An hourglass is a giant time-measuring tool used by Minecraft:Poseidon against his prisoner participants in Minecraft:Minecraft Mini-Series.
Description
The hourglass resembles a generic hourglass in appearance, except that it resembles a flat item.
Properties
The hourglass' falling sand is used to both measure the time left until the trapped participants get swallowed by the Minecraft:Kraken and to lower the pillars with each grain fallen.
History
After Minecraft:Poseidon managed to steal the show from Minecraft:CommuniKate, he kidnapped most of her contestants on top of sand pillars in front of his ocean monument. He warned her alongside Minecraft:Zed, Minecraft:Durango, and Minecraft:Quinn that if they didn't bring him the five Minecraft:enchanted ender eyes before time runs out, the contestants will get swallowed by the Minecraft:Kraken and subsequently banished into the Nether. To measure the time left until then, he summoned a giant hourglass next to Minecraft:Rudi's pillar, informing that every grain of sand fallen will lower the pillars.
Whenever the team managed to collect an eye of ender, Poseidon often showed up showing the time left until their friends get swallowed using a smaller hourglass appearing out of nowhere near him. After they managed to collect the final eye, he congratulated them for their work and dropped his miniature hourglass to the ground to stop the pillars. Later, when Minecraft:Theseus stole an eye of ender to break the Overworld portal, he tripped on the hourglass and accidentally dropped the eye, leaving it at Poseidon's reach.
