Minecraft:Clash in the Canal

From SAS Gaming Wiki

Template:Italic title Template:Infobox video Clash in the Canal is the fourth episode of the second season of Minecraft Mini-Series.

Summary

It is afternoon and the team is sent to the Canal by Poseidon in search for the third enchanted ender eye. He warns them that the pillars holding his prisoners are closer to the Kraken. However, Durango complains about how his endless quest has no stop, resulting in his starvation. CommuniKate suggests building a shelter before the sun sets, but Quinn feels reluctant and decides to set sails across the Canal herself. Zed then asks Kate to go along, and she reluctantly consents. Durango then feels comfortable about a rest, but CommuniKate tells him that they need to build a shelter, suggesting "magenta carpeting, stained glass skylight, and a diamond fireplace".

After entering the Harpy's Cave, Quinn order Zed to look for the third enchanted ender eye, when the latter gets spooked by Arachne sneaking on him. Soon, the spider leaps onto the boat, shattering it into planks and sticks and sending its riders on land. Meanwhile, on the Canal's shore, Durango is busy building a Minecraft:sandstone shelter, but CommuniKate likes stone bricks more, ordering him to change the building material. Back in the cave, Quinn tries her best to defeat Arachne with her sword and accidentally unseals a small cobweb gate. Arachne soon runs away in fear, and Quinn and Zed get through the gate to find an ender eye chest. Soon, a harpy comes out and starts to swoop on them.

Meanwhile at night in the Canal, Durango complains about CommuniKate's criticism. He then decides to swim across the Canal, knowing that his quest with Quinn and Zed would be "a walk in the prairie". Back in the cave, Quinn struggles to fight the harpy due to her high-flying abilities and damaging talon slash. As Durango enters the cave to join Quinn, the harpy swoops on his hat, dropping it. Then, an annoyed CommuniKate comes along, complaining about her night-off being canceled.

Durango finds the drops from Quinn and Zed's shattered boat, deciding to use them. Later, the harpy's fight went so long that the team was at low health. As the harpy gets ready to swoop on them, she gets caught by Durango's fishing rod. He tells his friends that he collected a dropped Minecraft:stick and Minecraft:strings to make the rod, thinking that he must spare it for fishing later. He then tells Quinn to claim the enchanted ender eye.

Soon, Poseidon appears on a floating prismarine screen, warning his contestants that the pillars holding his prisoners are lowering. However, River and Toby are missing. Afterward, the screen turns into a portal absorbing the team to a new location, and Poseidon thinks Theseus is behind Toby and River's disappearance.
