The Standard and heraldry for the Garou King.

The Garou King is a Dragonwilds:Power level 5 mini-boss Monster located at the Dragonwilds:Highlands Castle.

He has a large tower shield to protect himself. When attacked, he will block all attacks until their stance is broken, staggering him for a very short period. Shortly after his stance is broken, he will attack and be immune to getting staggered. He has an attack that could kill the player with one hit.

Players must defeat a Garou King to receive the Dragonwilds:Tainted King's Token needed for the Dragonwilds:Dog Days quest.

Journal

The following text is transcribed from the Journal.

Those who complete the rite of the moon, and usurp their leaders, become the kings of the garou. The title of king is gender-neutral, and kings of all genders are recorded across garou history. This is because the mantle of queen has belonged to only two beings: Lougrim and her devourer.

When Lougrim first visited the world of the garou, a place known as Antumnos, she was treated as prey. Her hunters were no match for a goddess, of course, and she assumed the forms of powerful predators, forcing them into submission.

She fell upon the capital of the garou nation, the city of Magrawn, where she called out a challenge to all the reigning kings of the garou clans. They answered the summons and she defeated each of them together in a single, decisive, battle. From then on, she held the mantle of High Queen of the garou.

A title she held until Kuldra devoured her, earning the dragon queen her moniker: God Eater.
