Mag boots, short for magnetic boots, were a mechanic allowing players and NPCs to traverse a surface in zero G as if it is normal ground.
This was implemented in the past but got removed.
StarCitizen:Cloud Imperium Games did not consider them to be versatile enough as they require a surface players can magnetize themselves to.
