Evan, also known by his username xskullxEVANxskullx, is one of the main characters of the Minecraft graphic novel series.
Appearance
Template:Expand section At school, Evan has blond hair, and he wears a red shirt, a blue jacket, dark blue pants, and brown shoes. In-game, his clothing is similar, with the same coloration. In-game, he wears a cast around his arm.
Personality
Template:Expand section Evan is somewhat introverted, being easily subjugated by a Minecraft:bully at one point (though he later develops past this). He is apologetic and forgiving of transgressions. At one point, Evan claims that he will join a tabletop RPG group over the summer.
Powers and abilities
Template:Expand section Evan is repeatedly shown to have a motif of skulls and skeletons; his username includes the word "skull" twice, he enjoys the show Dueling Skeletons, and he is somehow forced to put in the final wither skeleton skull to complete the Minecraft:Wither.
Biography
Pre-series
At some point prior to the story, Evan had an encounter with Minecraft:zombie pigmen. Whatever this entailed, it left him in his own words "traumatized," and reluctant to ever travel to Minecraft:the Nether again.
Volume 1
Template:Expand section At the time the story began, Evan was working on infrastructure in and around Minecraft:Hibiscus House, most notably an arena to fight the Wither. While he is working on the arena, the girls arrive, announcing that they have the last wither skeleton skull. The incomplete wither construct somehow forces Evan to put the last skull in, creating the Wither in the process. The wither is quickly slain.
After some time, Evan apologizes to Minecraft:Tyler and explains that the group did not want to fight the wither without him, and Tyler apologizes in return about the change of time zone. Evan gifts Tyler the Minecraft:Wither star, which Tyler puts in a newly built beacon. He then suggests that the group go to the End. They eventually arrive there, where Evan helps destroy the end crystals.
Volume 2
Template:Expand section Evan encounters a school bully around this time. At first, he lets the bully have significant influence over him, but Evan stands up to the bully more over time.

Relationships
Tyler
Template:Expand section Evan is consistently shown to be very close with Tyler, arguably closer than any of his other friends. He is understanding of Tyler's struggles, and both of them miss each-other.
Bully
Throughout the second volume, Evan is repeatedly shown being picked on and tormented by a school bully. The reasons given for this animosity are never given, but it is implied to have been ongoing for an extended time before the story. Whenever this bully is around, Evan will often lose his temper or be manipulated into whatever the bully desires at that moment. Over the course of the comic, he develops the courage to stand up to this oppression, him and his friends successfully riding him in the moment.
