Trivia

  • The Minecraft:warden is the only fully hostile monster (as Minecraft:skeleton horses are passive when not mounted) that spawns naturally that does not count towards the Monster Hunter advancement or Monsters Hunted challenge.
    • The reason for this is because the warden is not intended to be slain, and is instead meant to be evaded.
  • Minecraft:Polar bears were once classified as monsters valid for advancements. This property was removed in snapshot Minecraft:19w14a.
  • Minecraft:Striders are internally referred to as monsters,<ref>Template:Cd</ref> however this does not affect gameplay, as the strider does not share the same traits as actual in-game monsters, being considered an Minecraft:animal instead.
