The Veil Flash Hider1 is a size 1 flash hider, a type of barrel attachment manufactured by StarCitizen:ArmaMod. It is part of the Veil series of flash hiders, designed to reduce muzzle flash and help keep a shooter's position hidden.<ref name="in-game">Template:Cite game</ref>

The flash hider reduces the visual muzzle flash which occurs when you fire your gun, making it more difficult to locate the source of a round. The result is a gun that doesn’t signal your position visually in exchange for a slight increase in recoil.
