Genesis Terraforming is a StarCitizen:human company active in the experimental StarCitizen:terraforming of StarCitizen:Nyx I, which began in StarCitizen:2954 and had progressed into a stage of nascent oceans and atmosphere by November of StarCitizen:2955. The primary goal of the Nyx experiment is to remove chemicals from Nyx's atmosphere that had previously resisted removal and stymied terraforming on many worlds, principally StarCitizen:Smog planets.<ref>Edition 4.4.
