Tips
- Players should always aim to use their best available watering can, spade, food, potion and jewelry.
- Seeds should always be planted in their right farming plots, as it reduces disease chances by a lot. See this for a list.
- Dragonwilds:Composts (super), bins (super), the compost bucket, water storage and Yew farming plots (and its corresponding seeds) are omitted from this guide. While they can be useful during a standard playthrough, their mechanics are somewhat clunky and inefficient for optimal training speed as of right now.
- Watering crops can still prove to be very useful as it speeds up the growing process considerably, especially with the aid of watering spells.
- Players should not be afraid to build as many Rain Catchers and Wells as they wish, as water can be challenging to deal with if there is no naturally occuring rain happening.
- Farming being a very passive skill when waiting for crops to grow, it should be trained in alternance with other skills.
- Utilizing the sleep mechanic accelerates Farming considerably, as crops instantly advance to their next growth stage at the start of a new day.
- Dragonwilds:Iron Secateurs should be wielded between casts of Uproot or Harvester if more crops are desired, as the tool's effects do not stack with these spells.
