Template:Wip Template:Infobox location The Ever Realm is a fictional Template:BE server appearing in the Minecraft graphic novel series, serving as the primary setting.

History

Template:Expand section At an unknown time, a group of kids became invested in the server, creating their own base and going on many adventures. Once their leader, Minecraft:Tyler, moved away from town, they were left with Template:MC as their primary method of hanging out. The group chose to surprise him when he got situated, and promised to complete one of their personal goals: constructing and defeating a wither. However, the wither had other plans, forcing Minecraft:Evan to build it. Although Tyler was able to chime in and defeat it, this incident made him think they bailed on their plans, and grew distrustful of his own pals.

Properties

Although depicted as a server within a video game, the Ever Realm is shown to behave more akin to reality, with players being depicted as lifelike and rarely wearing in-game items. Although areas are made out of identifiable Minecraft:blocks and inhabited by Minecraft:mobs, it does not appear to follow any sort of grid, with objects being of varying degrees of cubic.<ref>Template:Mcnet</ref> As well, players on the server are shown to possess far greater power than a real world Minecraft:player, being able to kill most mobs in a single hit, place down objects, permanently break constructs, and be held captive. The server appears to be in Minecraft:survival mode with a Minecraft:daylight cycle and terrain generation that was the standard before Minecraft:Caves & Cliffs, though Minecraft:the Nether has the features added in the Minecraft:Nether update.

Architecture

Template:Expand section Architecture on the Ever Realm features designs that do not follow the grid structure of Minecraft. The inhabited areas of the Ever Realm feature a number of different architectural styles, but a few key elements remain constant: the use of Minecraft:dirt paths between buildings that almost always comprise several rectangular prisms with small, vertical windows of varying color. Floating islands of various styles also appear in these areas, usually with Minecraft:grass blocks on top and connected by rope bridges. Lighting is almost always provided by blocks that resemble Minecraft:redstone lamps atop towers of Minecraft:fences.

Geography

Template:Expand section A few areas near spawn feature cities with dozens of residents. These areas feature mostly buildings, with very few mob or item farms and outdoor constructions.

There is plenty of untouched land on the server, and it can be reached in a matter of days. Most of these areas that are shown appear to be a mixture of the Minecraft:plains, Minecraft:forest, and Minecraft:birch forest biomes. Other landforms are also shown, including a volcano. Structures exist in this world, including a Minecraft:ruined portal.

Culture

Template:Expand section The server in general has a decent amount of order, as griefing is very uncommon and most locations on the server have no defensive elements. However, the server is not completely in concord, as minor-scale conflicts are frequent and other players are seen as a hazard when in unexplored areas. Although the server is inhabited by many players, Minecraft:the End and areas of the Minecraft:Overworld a few days out from the spawn point were completely untouched until the Gang explored them.
