13w23b is the twelfth Minecraft:snapshot for Minecraft:Java Edition 1.6.1, released on June 7, 2013<ref>Template:Tweet</ref> to fix some of the bugs and crashes in the Minecraft:13w23a snapshot.

- Now give the new Minecraft:Health Boost effect.
Gameplay
- Added Minecraft:Health Boost effect.
- Also, both the attribute and the potion effect now show the hearts.

- Normal golden apples now give Regeneration II for 10 seconds.
Mobs
- New mechanics and AI.
- Able to lock onto the player from much further away.
- Mobbing zombies can now move when further than 32 blocks from the player.
- Spawn additional zombies when not being looked at.

- This is the last version in which texture packs existed.
