Spider Overview

Spider is a unique Beast Form that can only be attained by drinking the Spider Juice potion sold by the Strange Spider, who is trapped deep in Serbule Crypt. Getting out of the form is done the same way, but with the far more expensive Un-Spider Juice.

Spiders serve the Goddess of Spiders and Patience, Akhisa.

In-Game Description

The art of living and fighting as a spider.

Training Spider

  • Strange Spider will sell you a potion to turn into a Spider. BE WARNED, THIS IS PERMANENT UNTIL DISPELLED.
  • Strange Spider also happens to sell a potion to undo being a Spider. If turning Spider, it might be a good idea to pick up one of these, too, so you can un-Spider when you want.
  • Some NPCs, even if they will talk to most animals, will not talk to scary ones. Spiders are quite scary.
  • Strange Spider also sells scrolls which teach a variety of spider abilities: Various levels of Spit Acid, Insidious Illusion, and Incubate.
  • Legs in Animal Town will unlock Spider levels 51-60, 61-70 and can teach you level 51+ abilities.
  • Noita the Green unlocks Spider levels 71-80.
  • Levels 81-90 are unlocked by Big Footed Jim deep beneath Povus.
  • Levels 91-100 are unlocked by Skitter at Statehelm.
  • Prodigy levels are unlocked by Skitter at Statehelm.

Riding

As a Beast Form, Spiders are not able to use the traditional Horse mounts offered through Riding. Instead, Legs in Animal Town teaches mount-form to Spider players who are at least level 25, as well as the speed boost ability Move Those Legs.
