Lore is a skill linked to the mastery of Words of Power and the study of the world of Alharth and Beyond. Raising Lore unlocks small, permanent bonuses to elemental damage resistance and Max Power.

ProjectGorgon:Lore Mechanics
Soothsaying
Soothsaying is a group of abilities in the Lore skill based around the viewing of Auguries. An adventurer can learn the four augury recipes (Beginner's, Basic, Advanced and Expert Augury) from Ashk the Answerer. Ashk will teach Augury abilities with appropriate favor, and after you complete some favor quests for him. You must have either Meditation or Shamanic Infusion at level 50 before you may learn these abilities.
Each Augury recipe gives a one hour buff and a new Augury can be divulged every hour. The buff effect can be positive or negative depending on the foreseen outcome, and the level of Augury used. Not every effect is available as a result of each recipe. Augury
