Minecraft:Bedrock Edition guides/Buzzy Bees

This guide is a simplified overview of all the changes in the Minecraft:Buzzy Bees update (Template:BE 1.14.x releases), which assumes at least some familiarity with Bedrock Edition 1.13.x releases.

Blocks

Minecraft:Beehive	File:Beehive JE1 BE1.png		Can be mined with any tool or by hand, but Minecraft:axes are fastest.	Houses bees. If the player breaks or havests honey from it, its bees become hostile to the player. Bees inside the hive do not turn hostile if it is harvested with Silk Touch, but bees outside the hive do. Bees do not turn hostile if there is a Minecraft:campfire underneath the hive when honeycombs or honey bottles are harvested.
Minecraft:Bee nest	File:Bee Nest JE1 BE1.png	Spawn naturally in Minecraft:flower forests, Minecraft:plains, and Minecraft:sunflower plains biomes.	Can be mined with any tool enchanted with Silk Touch.	Functions the same as beehives.
Minecraft:Honey block	File:Honey Block JE1 BE2.png		Can be broken instantly, regardless of held items.	Works the same way as Minecraft:slime blocks. Does not stick to slime blocks. Carries mobs along that are standing on it while being moved, in contrast to slime blocks. Mobs usually avoid walking on them. Entities can slide down its sides, similar to a ladder. Falling on it absorbs 80% of fall damage.
Minecraft:Honeycomb block	File:Honeycomb Block JE1 BE1.png		Can be broken with any tool.	Decorative block.

Changed

Minecraft:Dispensers	File:Dispenser.png	Can now harvest honeycombs when dispensing shears on bee nests and beehives filled with honey. The honeycomb items are dropped on the ground. Can now collect water bottles and honey bottles when dispensing glass bottles on water and beehives.
Minecraft:Slime block	Template:Animate	Changed texture to match Java Edition's

Items

Minecraft:Honey bottle	File:Honey Bottle JE1 BE2.png	Obtained by using a bottle on beehives/nests with a Template:Cd of 5.	Restores Template:Hunger. Used to craft honey blocks. Can be consumed regardless of the player's hunger.
Minecraft:Honeycomb	File:Honeycomb JE2 BE2.png	Obtained by using shears on beehives/nests with a Template:Cd of 5.	Used to craft beehives and honeycomb blocks.
Bee's Minecraft:spawn egg	File:Bee Spawn Egg JE2 BE1.png	Can be obtained only via creative inventory.	Used to spawn Minecraft:bees. Has the same function as other Minecraft:spawn eggs.

Minecraft:Lead	File:Lead.png	Can now be used on Minecraft:dolphins, Minecraft:ocelots, Minecraft:parrots, and Minecraft:polar bears.
Minecraft:Spawn eggs		Are now sorted alphabetically in the Creative inventory.
