Buzzy Bees is a major update; mainly focused on Minecraft:bees and the items relating to them, as well as also fixing bugs from previous versions. The update was released on December 10, 2019, only for the Template:Editions of Minecraft.<ref>Template:Tweet</ref><ref>Template:Tweet</ref>

This update was released on Template:El as version 1.15. This update's development started with snapshot Minecraft:19w34a, which was released on August 22, 2019.<ref>Template:Mcnet</ref> The first pre-release for Java Edition 1.15 was released on November 21, 2019, followed by the second on November 25, the third on November 28, the fourth on December 3, the fifth on December 5, the sixth on December 6 and the seventh on December 9.<ref name="pre">Template:Mcnet</ref>

It was released on Template:El as version 1.14.0.

Additionally, this update was released for Template:El in 1.14.31 on August 7, 2020.

For the Template:El, the full update was released on July 16, 2020.

The official name for the update, Buzzy Bees was revealed on November 21, 2019, in a blog post on Minecraft:Minecraft.net.<ref name="pre"/>

Template:Animate Minecraft:Bee nest

Are the homes of Minecraft:bees.
Fill up with honey which can be collected through glass bottles.
Can also use shears for honeycombs.

Can be Minecraft:crafted using 6 wood planks and 3 honey combs.
An artificial home for the Minecraft:bees.
Fill up with honey which can be collected through glass bottles.
Can also use shears for honeycombs.

Crafted using four Minecraft:honey bottles.
Minecraft:Entities touching their sides slide down slowly.
A Minecraft:player or Minecraft:mob can only jump ³⁄₁₆ blocks high on honey blocks.
Take away some fall damage upon falling onto it.
Blocks adjacent to the honey block are moved when the honey block is moved by a piston.
- When used in tangent with a Minecraft:slime block, the honey block does not move.

Used to spawn a bee.

Obtained by using a Minecraft:glass bottle on a Minecraft:beehive or Minecraft:bee nest.
Restores Template:Hunger hunger and gives 1.2 hunger saturation.
Remove the Minecraft:Poison effect when consumed like milk.
Also used to craft a Minecraft:honey block.

Template:InvSprite Minecraft:Honeycomb

Obtained by shearing Minecraft:bee nests and Minecraft:beehives.
Used to craft a Minecraft:honeycomb block.

Mobs

A flying Minecraft:neutral Minecraft:arthropod that spawn near Minecraft:beehives.
File:Bee (angry).gif Attack in groups if provoked.
- Inflict Minecraft:Poison.
- File:Bee stings.gif After attacking once, they become passive, loose their stinger and die shortly after.
File:Bee with nectar JE1.gif Can pollinate Minecraft:crops, making them grow faster when passing over them in a pollinated state.
Avoids Minecraft:water.
Homeless bees wander around searching for empty Minecraft:beehives.
Can be bred with Minecraft:flowers.

Minecraft:Campfire

Can be used to prevent bees from aggravating when under a been nest or beehive.

Minecraft:Composter in Template:JE

Now crafted with wooden slabs instead of fences and wooden planks to match Template:BE.

Minecraft:Crafting table

When the GUI is opened, Template:Key + clicking an item or a stack in the Minecraft:inventory now transfers it directly into the crafting grid.

Minecraft:Dark prismarine

Now Minecraft:crafted from Minecraft:black dye instead of Minecraft:ink sacs.

Minecraft:Dispensers

Can now harvest Minecraft:honeycombs when dispensing Minecraft:shears on Minecraft:bee nests and Minecraft:beehives filled with honey.
- The honeycomb items are dropped on the ground.
Can now collect Minecraft:honey bottles when dispensing Minecraft:glass bottles on Minecraft:beehives.
Can now collect Minecraft:water bottles when dispensing Minecraft:glass bottles on Minecraft:water.
Can now place down Minecraft:armor stands.

Mobs

Template:Animate Minecraft:Iron golem in Template:JE

Now cracks as they take damaged.
Can be repaired using Minecraft:iron ingots.

Java Edition

Minecraft:1.15.1 was released to fix some bugs.
Minecraft:1.15.2 added new game rules, made some changes for bees and fixed some bugs.

Bedrock Edition

1.14.0.12 was released exclusively on PS4 to fix several bugs related to the Bedrock Edition PS4 launch.
1.14.1 and 1.14.20 were released to fix even more bugs.
