Minecraft:Fire Charge

Template:For Template:Infobox item entity A fire charge is an Minecraft:item that can be Template:Control as a single-use version of a Minecraft:flint and steel or shot as a Minecraft:small fireball from a Minecraft:dispenser.

Obtaining

Despite firing small fireballs, Minecraft:blazes do not drop fire charges.

Natural occurrence

Template:Main During Minecraft:ominous trials, each Minecraft:ominous trial spawner has a Template:Frac chance to dispense a fire charge on top of either a player or a mob it spawns. The fire charge is directly dispensed into the world and cannot be obtained in the inventory.

Dispensed small fireball

Fire charges can be used as ammunition in Minecraft:dispensers or as a single-use substitute for a Minecraft:flint and steel.

When used, it instantly places a Minecraft:fire, similar to flint and steel. But, unlike flint and steel, the fire charge is consumed in the process. It can prime Minecraft:TNT and light Minecraft:nether portals, Minecraft:campfires, Minecraft:candles, cakes with candles, and Minecraft:creepers Template:Only.

When a fire charge is fired from a dispenser, it shoots a Minecraft:small fireball. However, a player cannot simply Template:Ctrl a fire charge while holding it to shoot a small fireball.
