Sandstone stairs can be mined using any Minecraft:pickaxe. If mined without a pickaxe, they drop nothing.

Natural generation

Sandstone stairs generate as part of Minecraft:desert pyramids, desert villages, and warm Minecraft:ocean ruins.

Usage

Sandstone stairs can be placed under Minecraft:note blocks to produce "bass drum" sounds.
