Minecraft:Spider Eye

Template:Infobox item A spider eye is a Minecraft:food Minecraft:item obtained from spiders and Minecraft:witches that is Minecraft:poisonous to Minecraft:players, but can be safely fed to Minecraft:armadillos for Minecraft:breeding. It is also a Minecraft:brewing ingredient for Minecraft:potions of Poison, and can be Minecraft:fermented for further brewing uses.

When Minecraft:eaten, a spider eye restores Template:Hunger hunger points and 3.2 saturation points, giving a nourishment value of 1.6. It also applies a Minecraft:Poison Minecraft:effect lasting 5 seconds to the player, causing Template:Hp damage, which reduces hunger/saturation by 6 points.

Breeding

Spider eyes can be used to Minecraft:breed adult Minecraft:armadillos and to speed up the growth of baby armadillos. Armadillos that are not rolled up also follow a player who is holding spider eyes.
