The People's Alliance, also known as the People's Alliance of Levski following their settlement, is an independent StarCitizen:Human political group that aims to uphold an egalitarian, self-sufficient society separate from the government of the StarCitizen:UEE.<ref name=":0">Template:Cite RSI</ref>
The People's Alliance has relatively broad control over the StarCitizen:Nyx system in which they are based.<ref name=":1">CitizenCon Direct: October 11, 2025. YouTube. About
It's a place to go for missions outside the law and for black market goods, but it's also home to radicals, rebels, free-thinkers and those who just don't want to be bothered with StarCitizen:Earth's bureaucracy. Humans on the frontier feel betrayed by the actions of the Messers and have adopted a once-bitten strategy when it comes to the UEE. And no one is going to tell you they're wrong. The Alliance possesses a set of six altruistic community rules for its inhabitants that sound much more like an attempt to build a better world than smuggle narcotics.Template:Fact

History
Originally founded to provoke societal change in the authoritarian StarCitizen:United Empire of Earth during the reign of StarCitizen:Imperator Corsen Messer V (StarCitizen:SEY 2609-2662), the People's Alliance opposed the Imperator's harsh criminal policy, such as broad expansion of capital punishment and suspension of the right to trial for political crimes. Initially focused on community aid programs and peaceful protest, the Alliance abandoned its goal of change after the systematic arrest, imprisonment and execution of its membership and prepared to establish a new, better society beyond the UEE's borders.<ref name=":0" />
Finding refuge in an abandoned mining facility on the StarCitizen:Nyx system asteroid StarCitizen:Delamar - the remote location seeming an ideal stronghold in which to start again - the Alliance in SEY StarCitizen:2655 formally founded a settlement which they named "StarCitizen:Levski" in honor of the ancient StarCitizen:Earth revolutionary Vasil Levski, with whom they shared their dream of an egalitarian society. Following the founding the political group now often referred to as the People's Alliance of Levski began a long-standing tradition of accepting refugees fleeing Messer rule, which continues today as the acceptance of those who wish to live away from the UEE.<ref name=":0" />
In the present, following the democratization of the UEE and the fulfillment of their original political goals, the People's Alliance are under stress from losing much of their purpose, mounting problems, new threats, the continued desire to create a free and fair society, and the consideration that the path forward may be to give in and seek aid from this new, though still perceived to be "unfair", StarCitizen:United Empire of Earth.<ref name=":1" />

Declaration of Intent
We, the People's Alliance of Levski, are dedicated to the creation and continual development of a truly egalitarian community, where all sentients may feel safe and free to express ideas while supporting each other towards the communal goal of enlightened self-sufficiency.
Visitors are expected to respect our beliefs and are encouraged to adopt them into their own life after they've gone.
All visitors should:
- Never denigrate another's views or ideas. We are all entitled to our own beliefs.
- Not attempt to profit from, exploit, or instigate plans to deprive anyone of their goods or health.
- Not pursue a UEE agenda while within our community.
- Agree to resolve conflicts in a nonviolent manner.
- Agree to spend time (no matter how little) thinking about what you have done today to make the universe a better place.
- Even if you disagree with us, you will respect our right to life.
Additionally, any person found engaging in infractions of the above felonies and misdemeanors will be met with fair but swift justice.
Extent of Influence
The People's Alliance controls space around the dwarf planet Delamar and countless asteroid clusters in its vicinity.
