Rental Equipment Credits (REC) is a virtual currency within the StarCitizen:Arena Commander StarCitizen:simpod game that allows for renting of ships and ship equipment.<ref>Template:Cite RSI</ref> It is a separate currency from StarCitizen:UEC. It can be earned while playing online Arena Commander and StarCitizen:Star Marine matches.
Typically ships and weapons cost 10% of their UEC cost, while renewing the rental gives a 20% discount. Once rented, an item can be used in Arena Commander for 7 24-hour periods.
