Minecraft:Poseidon's Game

Summary

On Minecraft:Arena Island, Minecraft:CommuniKate explains that during their uprising against her, the participants actually failed to teleport back home and instead ended up to a special place where the second season of the game show will take place. She uses her command block to teleport herself and Minecraft:Zed to the Minecraft:Greek Isles where Minecraft:Durango and Minecraft:Quinn found themselves, confused that they are not home. CommuniKate explains to them that her command block was pre-programmed to teleport every participant on the Isles, and gets confused about where everyone else ended up.

Soon, she hears a voice calling her. It is Minecraft:Poseidon, standing on a sand block in front of the staircase to a temple. CommuniKate explains how, prior to the start of Season 2, she decided to collaborate with him so that the new season takes place on the Greek Isles. Both imply that the show will be a "big hit", but Poseidon soon betrays her and steals the show so only he hosts it. He repeatedly belittles CommuniKate as a "puny mortal", and glorifies himself as a powerful god. To prove it, he hits the tip of his trident to the sand block, summoning a herd of Minecraft:golden sheep and taking away Durango and Quinn's inventory so nothing will pose a threat to him. He then declares CommuniKate and Zed as mere players in his game. Quinn complains about the participants once being a pawn in the game, and a subject to CommuniKate's ego and now Poseidon's.

Poseidon then reveals the quest for the challenge: collecting all five Minecraft:enchanted eyes of ender, promising "the ultimate treasure" after combining them. Excited by the treasure, Durango consents participating, and Quinn tells him that the treasure is worth risking.

Afterward, Poseidon tells the people that the challenge also involved saving lives. He hits the tip of his trident again, causing his ocean monument and eight pillars of sand to rise out of the seafloor. The eight participants who were not here before end up on top of the pillars. Not handling to see her friends in danger, Quinn quickly begins swimming toward the pillars, but Poseidon warns her that the Minecraft:Kraken is lurking the sea. Quinn immediately swims to the shore so she becomes safe from the Kraken. Poseidon then summons an Minecraft:hourglass in the air, telling that each grain of sand falling will slowly lower each of the ten pillars. When the last grain falls, the participants will get swallowed by the Kraken and respawn in Minecraft:the Nether. This can be stopped only by finding the ender eyes before it's too late.

To lead the way to the challenge, Poseidon summons a Minecraft:prismarine portal with his trident, warning that each ender eye is guarded by a "mythic legend". Durango, with hopes of the ultimate treasure, enters first, then Quinn, then Zed, and later CommuniKate after hesitation before the portal vanishes. Afterward, Minecraft:Theseus, Poseidon's son, arrives, and his father tells him that everything is going according to his plan. Meanwhile, the participants find themselves on an island where Durango spots the first enchanted eye of ender. Then, a mysterious voice of Poseidon's tells them that they are on Medusa's Island and in front of her cave.
