{{#vardefine:pagename|Dragonwilds:Imaru/Strategies}} Template:Multi Infobox Imaru the Soul-Eater is an Dragonwilds:undead blue dragon infused with the wild anima of Dragonwilds:Ashenfall and the energy of the Underworld by drinking from the River NoumenonScript error: No such module "References".. She was one of Dragonwilds:Kuldra's generals, who rules over Dragonwilds:Fellhollow, a boss monster who was introduced with the 0.10 update.
Her lair is located within the Dragonwilds:Hope's Fall region of Dragonwilds:Fellhollow and is magically sealed. For the player to enter her lair, they have to find three curse fragments and use them to dispel the barrier that prevents entry. If you have faced Imaru (and defeated her), you will need to re-collect all of the curse fragments to unlock the magical seal. Unlike Dragonwilds:Velgar's world events, Imaru only attacks the player out in the world if they are soul-rifting for too long.

While origin unknown, Imaru, like all other dragons in Ashenfall, was created by the dragonkin. With her mate, Dragonwilds:Xikotal, Imaru had settled within the region of Fellhollow. After the Dragonwilds:Dragon Rebellion, Kuldra had issued an extermination to the human settlements in Ashenfall, minus a few. She took notice of Imaru's and Xikotal's mercy. Finding this as betrayal, she would descend onto the region to handle it herself.Script error: No such module "References".Script error: No such module "References". Imaru and Xikotal would deny Kuldra, rejecting her demands and rise against her, the humans would rise with them.Script error: No such module "References".Script error: No such module "References". But, even with numbers on their side, Kuldra proved too powerful. In Imaru's horror, she witnessed her mate's heart get ripped out of his chest, and be devoured by Kuldra.Script error: No such module "References". Instead of killing Imaru, Kuldra leaves her to her grief, considering this as punishment for disobeying her.
Imaru sought out Dragonwilds:Ravanna, a sorcerer who had practiced in the magical arts, including necromancy Script error: No such module "References".. She begged for her beloved back, but Ravanna declined, as she was not powerful enough to reanimate things to that degree.Script error: No such module "References". Instead, she offered her a different solution, a curse to allow her to take vengeance on Kuldra.Script error: No such module "References".Script error: No such module "References". As such, she bestowed a curse, that would turn Imaru's grief into power, a blade for the Godeater.Script error: No such module "References". However, this was not enough to even stand a chance against Kuldra, who killed her quite easily. Script error: No such module "References". However, due to the very curse put on her, Imaru did not give up, she instead drank from the River Noumenon, and clawed her way out of the underworld, resurrecting herself to continue her vengeance, however, that came with a cost...corruption.<ref name="imaru" /> Wedging her way out of the underworld had caused the the river to somehow be blocked,Script error: No such module "References". with some starting to leak into the surface of Fellhollow.Script error: No such module "References". Journal
Dragonkin experiments had robbed her of the one thing she craves, to be a mother. So when the humans came to the region, she convinced Xikotal that they should take them under their wing, becoming protectors and, perhaps, even parents to the fragile things.
Together, they built a society with peace and cooperation at its core. The villagers thrived, and Imaru and her mate thrived with them. She used magic within her to bless her new pets, making sure that she could protect them wherever they were
How cruel a thing is fate? once protector, Imaru became the threat. After being slain by Kuldra, Imaru became a blighted thing. She refused to pass into the afterlife and wedged herself within the river of souls, feasting on the dead of Fellhollow in search of power. Once the guardian of her beloved adopted children, Imaru was lost to everything but the rage and grief. She would have torn apart the world for one more shot at Kuldra.
Fortunately, that won't be an option.Gallery
