Template:Infobox Item The Iron Sword is a Dragonwilds:Power level 4 One-Handed Melee Weapon that can be crafted at a Dragonwilds:Smithing Anvil. Its special attack is a forward stab, which can reach quite far forward compared to most melee attacks, making it useful for combo extensions and intercepting an opponent before they can attack.

The following text is transcribed from the Journal.

It was iron that nearly brought about the end of the garou. Swords forged of the metal were death in handheld form.

The blacksmiths of Dragonwilds:Brynmoor churned out countless numbers of Iron Swords, depleting the village's iron supplies. Each soldier was equipped with such a weapon and each warrior was ready to cut through the horde.

The garou are strong, dangerous and deadly. Their weapons are powerful, and their strikes fierce. Even the magic of their druids puts the Wizard's Guild to shame. Yet their armour fails to turn away iron's wrath. As humans advanced, iron weapons in hand, they razed villages to the ground and wiped out whole families.

Dragonwilds:Lougrim wept for the loss of her children, and her cries changed the course of the war.

Iron is strong, but it melts at great temperatures, and there are no flames as strong as a dragon's breath. As Lougrim bound herself to the service of the Dragonwilds:Cabal, all that was left of the villagers were puddles of molten metal.
