History
The Temple of Saradomin was established during the Third Age, a time when the rest of the world was engulfed in the God Wars. Followers of Saradomin arrived on the continent and established a small settlement at the peak of a cliff. From this vantage point, the expedition could gaze both back toward their former homes across the water and down toward Bramblemead, the settlement they would establish (Sic, this appears to be a contradiction as there had to have been a village there for them to "integrate" with to start with, whether unnamed or BramblemeadScript error: No such module "References".).Script error: No such module "References". Over time, as the followers of Saradomin integrated with the villagers of Bramblemead, they began to establish more permanent structures.Script error: No such module "References".
Built to Last
As time passed, the tents gave way to the large stone foundations of the temple.Script error: No such module "References". The Temple was built to overlook all of Dragonwilds:Brynmoor, with stained glass windows that once caught the sunlight and served as a beacon to the villagers below.Script error: No such module "References". Unlike the structures that preceded it in the region, the Temple was constructed of stone rather than wood, providing more comfort to those who dwelled within. As one priest noted in their journals, they had hoped for "a nice church made of stone, not wood" to preach the blessed teachings of Saradomin.Script error: No such module "References".
Present day
The temple still stands, its lofty windows and exterior largely undamaged by the passage of time, save for the odd vine or sapling. This is supposedly because it has been protected by lingering priestly magic that keeps more dangerous elements at bay.Script error: No such module "References". Though the interior has begun to collapse, leaving a gaping space where the ground floor was and allowing direct access to what once was the basement.
