Minecraft:Xbox 360 Edition TU12

Template:Infobox version TU12 is a version of Minecraft:Xbox 360 Edition released on August 23, 2013.<ref>Template:Cite</ref> This version is based on Minecraft:Java Edition 1.2.4. This version was reuploaded.

Additions

General

• Minecraft:Texture pack and Minecraft:mash-up pack support
  • 'Mash-up pack' are a combination of resources (textures, BGMs, and so on) and "themed worlds" (world data), adding customizations to Minecraft. Full versions of mash-up packs are paid content.<ref>Template:Tweet</ref>
• New tutorial world.
• Added a Favorites tab to the Skin Selector menu, storing most recently used skins.
• Very rare Minecraft:desert wells that can be found in Minecraft:desert biomes.
• New ambient cave sounds.
• New AI for Minecraft:mobs.

Blocks and items

• Minecraft:Chiseled stone bricks, Minecraft:ocelot Minecraft:spawn egg, Minecraft:mob heads (there are Minecraft:wither skeleton skulls, although Minecraft:wither skeletons have not been added to the game).
  • Only available in Minecraft:Creativemode.
• Jungle Minecraft:wood, Minecraft:plank, Minecraft:stairs, Minecraft:leaves, Minecraft:sapling, Minecraft:slab, cocoa pod, Minecraft:redstone lamp.

Mobs

• Minecraft:Iron golem, Minecraft:ocelot, Minecraft:cat and baby Minecraft:villager.

Changes

General

• Increased max Minecraft:boats in a world from 20 to 40.
• Fix to display a message when maximum boats are reached.
• Dropped items will spin around (like blocks).
• 1.4.6 feature: Dropped items are rendered in 3D.

Blocks and items

• Retextured Minecraft:leather armor to allow it to be dyed, but did not implement dyed armor.
• Crafting recipe for Minecraft:ladder now yields 3 ladders instead of 2.
• Placing blocks on Minecraft:grass will replace it.
• Minecraft:Lava now has a faint rumbling sound effect and large particles that hop out of the lava produce a popping sound.
• Minecraft:Doors have been updated so that double doors work better with Minecraft:Redstone.
• Minecraft:Boats will now break when it hits land hard.
• Minecraft:Slabs and Minecraft:stairs can be placed upside-down.
• Minecraft:Bones have been moved from the Miscellaneous tab to the Materials tab in the Creative inventory.
• Minecraft:Bottle o' enchanting have been moved from the Miscellaneous tab to the Brewing tab in the Creative inventory.
• 1.3.1 feature: Minecraft:Boats and Minecraft:minecarts can be dispensed from a Minecraft:dispenser.
• 1.3.1 feature: Items can be placed directly on upside down slabs and stairs.
• 1.4.2 feature: Corner Minecraft:stairs automatically change its shape.
• 1.4.2 feature: Updated textures which includes new textures for leather Minecraft:armor, Minecraft:bread, Minecraft:raw chicken, Minecraft:cooked chicken, Minecraft:raw beef, Minecraft:steak, Minecraft:raw porkchop, Minecraft:cooked porkchop and Minecraft:apples.
• 1.5 feature: Changed the texture of Minecraft:powered rail items.
• 1.5 feature: Updated the texture of water and Minecraft:lava to be pre-generated texture files just like post 1.5 Java edition.

World generation

• Build height limit changed from 128 to 256.
• 1.3.1 feature: Minecraft:Cocoa grows on jungle trees.
• Minecraft:Mineshafts can generate with wooden bridges now when generated over a cave or over top another tunnel.

Mobs

• Added rare drops for Minecraft:mobs.
• Minecraft:Villagers will have children if there is room in their village.
• Minecraft:Zombie sieges will occur occasionally at night.
• Minecraft:Zombies can now break down doors.
• When in Minecraft:the Nether, Minecraft:snow golems will melt and die same as when they are in Desert biomes.
• Minecraft:Villagers now open and close doors.
