26.1 Snapshot 4 (known as 26.1-snapshot-4 in the Minecraft:launcher) is the fourth snapshot for Minecraft:Java Edition 26.1, released on January 20, 2026, which changes the models of baby horses, donkeys, and mules, as well as zombie and skeleton horses, adds new tags, and fixes bugs.<ref>Template:Mcnet</ref>

• Added the following tags which determine which blocks a category of vegetation can be placed on and survive:

Mobs

Template:More sounds Baby mobs

• Changed the textures and models of the following baby mobs:
  • Minecraft:Donkey
  • Minecraft:Horse
  • Minecraft:Mule
  • Minecraft:Skeleton horse
  • Minecraft:Zombie horse
• Increased the Minecraft:hitbox size of baby horses, skeleton horses, and zombie horses to better fit each new model.

• The Minecraft:pack format version is now Template:Cd.
