Minecraft:Education Edition 1.18.31.0

1.18.31.0 is the third and final beta version for Minecraft:Education Edition 1.18.32, released on July 14, 2022.<ref name=changelog3>Template:Cite</ref> This update enabled new rendering engine Minecraft:RenderDragon to Minecraft:Education Edition and brought technical changes to WebSocket.

WebSocket

• JSON format for events sent from WebSocket server and Code Builder APIs updated to hierarchical JSON format.
• Less useful properties removed, block and item IDs switched to name-based format instead of numerical format.
• Agent commands in WebSockets moved to new "action:agent" format, all commands are queued and include unique IDs to correlate responses.
• Any future breaking changes to websocket and Code Builder APIs will now result in the "protocolVersion" being incremented.
