Template:Conjecture Template:Infobox object A prismarine portal is a portal used by Minecraft:Poseidon to teleport his players across the Minecraft:Greek Isles in Minecraft:Minecraft Mini-Series.
Appearance
Prismarine portals resemble a Minecraft:Nether portal in appearance, but with a smooth Minecraft:prismarine frame, a blue-colored interior, and the fact that they can be spawned vertically or horizontally and underwater. The interior sometimes disappears at Poseidon's will to reveal what is beyond the portal.
Properties
Prismarine portals appear in front of the participants when Poseidon strikes the tip of his trident. Their suction ability is powerful enough to send players flying and teleport them across the Minecraft:Greek Isles according to Poseidon's need.
History
When Minecraft:Poseidon stole the show from Minecraft:CommuniKate and kidnapped eight of her contestants above the sea, he ordered her, Minecraft:Zed, Minecraft:Quinn, and Minecraft:Durango to pay a ransom consisting of five Minecraft:enchanted eyes of ender. To find them, they had to travel to faraway islands and defeat the "mythic legends" guarding the chests holding the ender eyes. As a threat, he told them that if they didn't arrive before the last grain of his Minecraft:hourglass falls, the prisoners would get eaten by the Minecraft:Kraken and respawn in the Nether. Because of the distance between the islands, he helped the players travel across the Greek Isles by spawning prismarine portals with his trident. Every time the players start a new quest or find an eye of ender, Poseidon shows up through the portal to warn them of dangers and convey updates about the Kraken.
