Sandstone slabs can be mined using any Minecraft:pickaxe. If mined without a pickaxe, they drop nothing.

Natural generation

Sandstone slabs generate as part of Minecraft:desert pyramids, Minecraft:desert Minecraft:villages, and Minecraft:desert wells.

Usage

Note blocks

Sandstone slabs can be placed under Minecraft:note blocks to produce "bass drum" sounds.
