Oretani I had been listed as a dwarf planet in the initial system assessment.<ref>Starmap: Oretani I</ref> Further studies showed that it was a StarCitizen:mesoplanet. In a close orbit around its star, it has extreme temperature differences between night and day.<ref name="GAORI">Script error: No such module "Cite RSI".</ref>
