Dragonwilds:Chat

From SAS Gaming Wiki

Template:External Chat is a communication feature between players in RuneScape: Dragonwilds. Players can see messages sent by others across any distance, and at least all standard alphanumeric characters are allowed. The game will automatically announce when any player joins, leaves, or dies on the server. In addition, the chat interface only allows public chats; players cannot perform private chats with each other.

The chat interface can be enabled by pressing the Template:Key press key. Players cannot use the chat feature whilst Dragonwilds:resting, in the build menu, or during cutscenes (such as the new player cutscene in the beginning). Players can type a single message up to 256 characters, and this includes spaces. There are several messages the game will say, depending on the action taken:

Reporting abuse

Players in multiplayer worlds who witness threats, harassment, or other forms of inappropriate behaviour can report the player by going to their Dragonwilds:settings (via the Template:Key press key), going to the Legal option, and clicking on Report illegal content. Alternatively, server owners can kick the offending player(s) off their server by pressing Template:Key press, clicking on Server at the top, and either kicking or banning the offending player.
