Dragonwilds:Dearg Due

Template:Infobox NPC Dearg Due is an mythical entity that appears in the Beast in the Sand section of Dragonwilds:Icthlarin's Little Helper, where she guides the Adventurer(s) towards Dragonwilds:Efina - The Lost. The Manafem clan blamed Dearg Due after watching her linger at the camp's southern edge. In truth, she had sheltered the lost garou through the storm. Once you help Elfina, the Dearg Due moves on from the world, but the sandstorm and her howl remain.

According to Dragonwilds:The Wolf and the Goddess, the Dearg Due was granted immortality by a god who loved her. When she leapt into Kuldra's throat in an attempt to attack her from within, Kuldra instead cursed her with undeath and spat her back into the sands.

• The portion of the quest involving the Dearg Due parallels to the legends of Dragonwilds:Elidinis' act of mercy during the God Wars. According to the legend, a refugee named Nardarine fled into the Waterless Desert, where Saradomin ignored her prayers. Elidinis answered them instead, providing her with water and food.
