Dragonwilds:Hunter Stagbow

Template:Infobox Item The hunter stagbow is a Dragonwilds:power level 4 Dragonwilds:longbow that can be crafted at a Dragonwilds:fletching bench. The recipe is learned by consuming Dragonwilds:a string of sinew, a Dragonwilds:vestige dropped by Dragonwilds:garou hunters with a 3/100 drop chance. It can be ascended at the Dragonwilds:mystic forge using Dragonwilds:ascension cores.

Its Dragonwilds:special effect reads "Increased DAMAGE, Reduced DRAW SPEED." This has been changed twice since it was introduced: At first, it said “+10% Draw Speed Reduction” then it was changed to “+10% Draw Speed,” before it was changed to what it reads now, however it continues to draw and fire faster than other longbows, despite the special effect's description. It's clear that the developer's intention is for this weapon to hit harder but slower, however that is not yet the case.

The increased damage is also far less than it used to be: Previously, it reached 152 base damage at power level 7 (compared to 100 and 102 for Ulv's Longbow and the Bow of Elidinis), however now it is a mere 2 base damage higher at power level 8 at 120 compared to 118 for the other two. That being said, as long as it continues to fire faster, this will remain the ideal longbow to ascend for players wishing to focus on sustained damage over time in longer fights, although Dragonwilds:Ulv's Longbow will still be better for the first shot due to its special effect, and the Bow of Elidinis' water damage and special attack remain interesting where effective.
