Dragonwilds:Ulv's Longbow

Template:Infobox Item Ulv's longbow is a Dragonwilds:power level 5 Dragonwilds:longbow that can be obtained (as well as its crafting recipe) as a reward from the Dragonwilds:Mirror, Mirror quest. It can then be crafted from a Dragonwilds:fletching bench. It can be ascended at the Dragonwilds:mystic forge using Dragonwilds:ascension cores.

Its Dragonwilds:special effect is 15% increased damage against unsuspecting targets, i.e. ones not yet in combat. Interestingly, this is the same damage bonus as Dragonwilds:trick shot, meaning that this weapon can deal the same damage on the first hit on a target as follow up trick shots on the same target.

Once the player can no longer continue aiming (to dodge an attack, for example), the trick shot is lost and another arrow will have to be fully drawn and fired to get it back. This makes the Dragonwilds:hunter stagbow's 10% faster draw speed more appealing, as it can loose and get back to trick shots faster. This weapon would be a competitive alternative, but after ascending to power level 7, the hunter stagbow far outpaces this weapon's base damage with 152 compared to only 100. Even with the special effect, the hunter stagbow will hit harder on every shot and is therefore the ideal longbow to ascend.
