Dragonwilds:Sir Percival Lateef

Template:Infobox NPC Sir Percival Lateef was a Template:RSL of Template:RSL, who arrived to Dragonwilds:Ashenfall before it was discovered by the world.

History

Life in the mainland

Not much is known about his early life, but it is known that he was trained as a White Knight, ranked a initiative of the order. As a member of the order, he trained other knights in swordsmanship whilst also giving lectures on his life as an explorer.Template:CiteJournal However, many of his fellow knights dismissed his stories, doubting his credibility, being ignored and teased. This exhausted him enough to take a boat and sail it north of the mainland with his own crew.Template:CiteJournal During the travel, his boat was destroyed with his crew left for dead. Luckily, he found himself alive, in a unknown beach in Ashenfall.Template:CiteJournal

Undead trouble

He had a choice between swimming around or climbing a cliff, being in heavy armor, he picked the cliff.Template:CiteJournal After climbing to the top, after many hours of near falls, he would witness the region of Dragonwilds:Fellhollow.Template:CiteJournal Luckily, his training as a White Knight aided him to fight such evils and fend them off as best he could. But soon, he would be out numbered, forcing him to retreat to a near by shrine atop of a rocky island.Template:CiteJournal Seeing as he is trapped, he prayed to Saradomin using the shrine, begging for salvation, a miracle that could save him, but he got no answer.Template:CiteJournal He set up a defence atop of the monument, fighting them off as they continue to appear, getting barely any sleep.Template:CiteJournal As time passed, he grew hunger and thirst took him, patiently waiting for his god to answer, he could only look at the symbol of Saradomin in defeated rage, feeling abandoned by his god, despite his servitude.Template:CiteJournal In a fit of rage, Sir Percival would cleave the symbol from the plinth with his sword, causing it to crash to the floor.Template:CiteJournal Seeing what he's done, he was filled with guilt and hid the fallen piece from his sight, dumbing it into the water.Template:CiteJournal He died later after this event, by either starvation, thirst or consumed by the undead.

• Sir Percival Lateef is a pun on the word, Superlative.
• According to Dragonwilds:Mod Raven, the armor is not intended to belong to Sir Percival Lateef, where the knight himself would have worn a different color instead of the red, which is meant to be for initiatives, is because it is iconic to the Template:OSL version of the armor.Template:CiteDiscord
