Dragonwilds:Lens

From SAS Gaming Wiki
(Redirected from Dragonwilds:The Lens)

The Lens is a device crafted by the Dragonwilds:Elder Gods. It is used to ensure that the sun of Dragonwilds:Gielinor gives off an appropriate amount of heat to the world.Template:CiteText Before they departed to slumber, they had tasked the Dragonwilds:KotHaar with safekeeping the device within Dragonwilds:Umbral Sands of Dragonwilds:Ashenfall. The KotHaar-Xil caste kept watch at the entrances to their tunnels, guarding the device against those who seek to harm or steal it.Template:CiteJournal

The device rested undisturbed until Dragonwilds:Fuzan discovered the KotHaar and the Lens. He bound the KotHaar to his will and had them carry the Lens from its resting place to his volcano, where its purpose was turned against itself.Template:CiteText With the Lens misaligned, the sun over the region burned far brighter than it had before.Template:CiteText With Fuzan's corruption of the sun, Umbral Sands would become harsher, almost uninhabitable to the Moon Garou that once struggled to live there.Template:CiteJournal The corrupted ray of the sun reshaped the region's plant life, producing the ruby vine as an offshoot of the wild jade vineTemplate:CiteJournal and transforming it into a more sandy regionTemplate:CiteNPC. Although Fuzan controls the KotHaar, they retain their original charge, and their attention still turns toward the Lens held in his tower.Template:CiteJournal

It is in the Dragonwilds:Sixth Age that a group of adventurers arrive in the region and put an end to Fuzan's rule.
