What Remains is Written is a secondary quest in Fellhollow.

Ransacked!

Speak to Abraxus the Eternal in Dragonwilds:Coalridge Pass just north of the fork in the road while wearing the full necromancer's gear. He will assume, at least from your clothes, that you are an apprentice of his and will require your aid. He will introduce himself quite arrogantly that you stand in the presence of "Abraxus The Eternal, master of necromancy, Keeper of secrets, both occult and arcane" and inform you that locals have ransacked his library and his most precious tomes have been spread across the eastern sub-regions. He tasks you to find them and bring them back, but not to read any of them. He claims that your mind is too young and too limited to contain the dread secrets within.

Hunt For Knowledge Pt. I: Ancient Tomes

To find all of the books you need to return to Abraxus, you will need to look through every corner of the Silverthorn Keep region. Here is some books you can find:

• The Pride of the Avernic: You can find this in the second level of Silverthorn Keep next to a archery target scene.
• The Importance of Chaos: You can find this book just north-west of the ominous gateway. It's lying on a small incline on the south side of a small tower amidst a gateway ruin (which can be seen on the map). It is on the southwestern end of the ruin.
• Dragonwilds:Aetheric Fundamentals, a Primordial Primer: You can find this across the stone bridge in Silverthorn Keep where you find the curse fragment. There is a green dragon spawn right next to this.
• The Wrath of Baba Potterington: You can find this book in a crumbled brick house near a nature grove north of the 'sil' of Silverthorn keep on the map.
• Leonard the Bound: You can find this northwest of the ominous gateway within the ruins that serve as the transition area between the Lake of Lost Souls and Silverthorn Keep areas. The book is on top of the western side of the gate, laying on a pedestal. There will be Skeletal Hoplites and archers in this area.

Once you have all of the books, speak to Abraxus.

Hunt of Knowledge Pt. II: The Secret Scrolls

Donning your necromancer's gear, speak to Abraxus. He will be excited to see that you have retrieved his books and hopes you didn't peek at them, but there is more to uncover. He mentions how three of his scrolls were taken from him and how you must reclaim them. He will say that the first scroll was taken from him by Blightscale, a green dragon, and that you must make a lesson of her hubris. The second scroll was taken by Ulgo, a Zogre, who can be found nearby. The last one to find was taken by a rival of his called Razlem, the Deranged.

• Eventide - A New Spawn: Defeat Dragonwilds:Razlem, the Deranged. He wanders a small ruin directly east of the ominous gateway. You will find the scroll on top of a desk near him.
• Coclear Malificarum: Defeat Dragonwilds:Ulgo the Zogre in Coalridge Pass. It will be right next to the chest in his hoard. Ulgo is just north of the "Coalridge Pass" label on the map.
• The Binding of Ib: Defeat Dragonwilds:Blightscale. Blightscale is a green dragon located at the south side of the cliffs leading up to the Silverthorn Keep, northeast of the ominous gateway. She is immediately past some willow trees and a small set of ruins. There is a spectral door in the small clearing where he's located. The scroll is found near some bones in the clearing.

Once you have all the scrolls, don your necromancer's gear and speak to Abraxus. He will commend you for your efforts and say that you have earned his respect, which no one has earned for centuries. He will then remark that he isn't foolish enough to believe you can be rewarded only with his respect, as he gives you something that may serve you well. He will then excuse himself to mail a pebble to an old friend of his and hopes that they accept it, so he can haunt them for a while, as he is tired of the view.
