The second version of Minecraft:Minecraft 4k was released on December 4, 2009. It changed controls, added widescreen support, more blocks, and the ability to place and destroy blocks.<ref>Template:Citation</ref>

- Replaces the ID used by the Minecraft:XOR Block in the previous version.
- Available in 10 variants.
World generation
- An invisible wall now surrounds the world, preventing the Minecraft:player from escaping. But now with the new blocks being spread around the world.
Gameplay
- Widescreen
- Placing and destroying Minecraft:blocks.
- Left-clicking and middle-clicking places a grass block, and right-clicking destroys a block.

- The camera now only moves when the player moves the cursor a considerably large distance away from the center of the game's Template:W.
