Brandon Hoàng is an American author best known for his novel Template:W; before becoming a writer he spent 10 years as an animation executive and still works as a writer for television.<ref>Template:Citation</ref> Most of his work pertains to Vietnamese culture, and within the Minecraft community he is known for being the author of the novel Minecraft: One Last Quest.

One Last Quest was released on October 21, 2025, and is the 22nd Minecraft Minecraft:novel. Hoàng writes on the book's premise: "what if a tightly knit group of friends who played Minecraft together were drifting apart? And what if a stranger came into their world and blew it all up?"<ref>Template:Citation</ref>
