Minecraft:Enchantment tag (Java Edition)

An enchantment tag is a group of enchantments. Enchantment tags are used in Minecraft:loot tables, to configure exclusive enchantments, and other gameplay features.

List of tags

curse

These enchantments have red colored description and cannot be removed with a grindstone.

double_trade_price

These enchantments get charged twice as much in villager trades.

in_enchanting_table

These enchantments can be obtained from Enchanting Table.

on_mob_spawn_equipment

These enchantments can be found on spawned mobs' equipment.

on_random_loot

These enchantments can be found on naturally generated equipment from loot tables.

on_traded_equipment

These enchantments can be found on equipment sold by villagers.

prevents_bee_spawns_when_mining

Used to prevent bees from coming out when mining Bee Nest or Beehive.

prevents_decorated_pot_shattering

Used to prevent decorated pots from dropping bricks and sherds when broken with a tool.

prevents_ice_melting

Used to prevent Ice turning into water instead of dropping itself when broken.

prevents_infested_spawns

Used to prevent infested blocks from spawning silverfish when broken.

smelts_loot

Used in entity loot tables as a condition for the Template:Cd function.

tooltip_order

The order of enchantments to display in item's tooltip. Does not change the order in data component format.

tradeable

These enchantments can be sold by villagers.

Enchantments in this tag are mutually exclusive with each other.

exclusive_set/boots

Enchantments in this tag are mutually exclusive with each other.

exclusive_set/bow

Enchantments in this tag are mutually exclusive with each other.

exclusive_set/crossbow

Enchantments in this tag are mutually exclusive with each other.

exclusive_set/damage

Enchantments in this tag are mutually exclusive with each other.
