Minecraft:Java Edition 1.21.11 Pre-Release 4

1.21.11 Pre-Release 4 (known as 1.21.11-pre4 in the launcher) is the fourth pre-release for Minecraft:Java Edition 1.21.11, released on December 1, 2025.<ref>Template:Mcnet</ref>

A separate Minecraft:unobfuscated version of 1.21.11 Pre-Release 4 was released, titled 1.21.11 Pre-Release 4 Unobfuscated (or 1.21.11-pre4_unobfuscated when in the launcher). This is an experimental version released in preparation for obfuscation being removed from Template:JE clients and servers.<ref>Template:Mcnet</ref>

Mobs

Minecraft:Nautilus and Minecraft:zombie nautilus

• Minecraft:Dispensers can now equip Minecraft:saddles and Minecraft:nautilus armor on tamed nautiluses and zombie nautiluses.
• Dismounting a nautilus or zombie nautilus while on land no longer places the player inside the nautilus.
  • This works given that there is a valid block to place the player on.
  • If there is no valid block, the player will be placed inside the nautilus as before.
• Zombie nautilus drops are now affected by Minecraft:Looting.

General

Minecraft:Creative mode

• The Minecraft:attack range extension for players in Creative mode is set to 2 blocks.

Minecraft:Data pack

• The Minecraft:pack format version is now Template:Cd.

Item components

• Template:Cd: Added fields.
  • Template:Cd: float, the minimum distance in blocks from the Creative Mode attacker to the target to be considered valid.
    • Default value: Template:Cd, valid from Template:Cd to Template:Cd
  • Template:Cd: float, the maximum distance in blocks from the Creative Mode attacker to the target to be considered valid.
    • Default value: Template:Cd, valid from Template:Cd to Template:Cd
