General

Minecraft:Tags

• Added the arrows entity tag.

Changes

Blocks

Minecraft:Composters

• Now crafted with wooden slabs (like Template:In), instead of fences and wooden planks.

Minecraft:End stone bricks

• Now have a Minecraft:hardness of 3.
• Now have a Minecraft:blast resistance of 9.

Mobs

Minecraft:Bees

• Now search up to 10 blocks away from itself in all directions to find a nest/hive to claim.

Minecraft:Parrots

• No longer imitate endermen.

World generation

Minecraft:Trees

• Birch trees generate in the Minecraft:dark forest biome once again.

Gameplay

Minecraft:Advancements

• The advancement "Take Aim" can now be unlocked by damaging an entity with a Minecraft:spectral arrow.

Minecraft:Recipe book

• The composter recipe now unlocks with wooden slabs instead of wooden fences.

Minecraft:Trading

• Minecraft:Librarians now sell one Minecraft:bookshelf for nine Minecraft:emeralds, instead of three bookshelves for six emeralds.

General

Textures

• Minecraft:Shield pattern textures now use alpha level for determining what gets the color, instead of the brightness (i.e., textures no longer store transparency as black).
• Changed the unused textures for the Minecraft:Java Edition 1.13 menu panorama to be 1×1 pixels.
• Removed textures for customized world type preset icons, except Isles.
• Grass and foliage Minecraft:tints no longer vary within a biome, with the exception of swamps.

Trivia

• Unlike most of the first-of-the-week snapshots, this was released on a Thursday instead of Wednesday, similar to the snapshots before Minecraft:14w26a.
