Additions
General
Changes
Items
- Players can now Minecraft:glide with Minecraft:elytra through Minecraft:cave vines and similar blocks.<ref>Template:Bug</ref>
- Can now be Minecraft:smelted in a Minecraft:blast furnace or Minecraft:furnace.
- The zombie horse and zombie nautilus spawn eggs now work in Minecraft:Peaceful worlds.
- Can no longer be used to hit targets through solid blocks.
- Can no longer break item frames with the jab attack.
Mobs
Minecraft:Nautilus and Minecraft:zombie nautilus
- Can now be controlled while on land.
- Are now able to despawn when not tamed.
- Piglins now consider Minecraft:golden nautilus armor as one of the items they like.
- No longer burns in sunlight.
- Now cannot hold another item other than a spear when paired with a zombie horse.
- Can no longer be leashed while being ridden by a jockey.
Command format
General
- Resource suggestions now show results in any namespace instead of just within
minecraft.
- Switched the order of the Template:Cd argument.
- Example: Template:Cmd is now Template:Cmd.
- Template:Cd now returns the queried value and takes in a new Template:Cd argument.
- The returned value will be scaled by that argument and truncated.
- The scale is optional and will default to Template:Cd if omitted.
- Example: Template:Cmd to get the elapsed time in ticks.
Gameplay
- Updated the "Minecraft:Oh Shiny" advancement to include the Minecraft:golden spear and Minecraft:golden nautilus armor.
- Minecraft:Lunge is no longer mutually exclusive with Minecraft:Mending.
General
- Underwater biome fog color and fog distance is now blended based on the player's position between biomes, similarly to regular biome fog and sky colors.
- Added new attributes field for biomes to specify Environment Attributes.
- Note: certain attributes, such as gameplay/fast_lava are not evaluated positionally and thus cannot be set on a Biome.
- Many subfields under effects have been migrated to Environment Attributes:

Fixes
Trivia
- This version has the same protocol version number as Minecraft:1.21.10 Release Candidate 1. The two versions are not actually compatible; 25w42a crashes when attempting to join a 1.21.10-rc1 world, and 1.21.10-rc1 throws a "Network Protocol Error" message when attempting to join a 25w42a world.
